 Kurap Kucing Heyya guys... I'm a new here... been searching for an advice through internet... A Pregnant stray cats drop by to our house... my father look pity on her so he gave a place for her to deliver.. macam penat kitorang tgk dia berjalan masa tu..so my father sedia kan place for her to deliver.. unfortunately.. 2 out of 3 of her kitten die, so all of our family decide to bela chitam with her mom.. but lately, I've found dia kene kurap, masa tu I thought mmg bulu telinga dia nipis.. until one day... dia demam... my mom da panik... bawak dia jumpa vet. then the doctor give him 3 jabs, with one antibiotic and one dietic cream, first day she was so weak.. tido satu hari... makan tak.. minum tak... mmg the whole day tido... until her mom feed her with breast milk, second day, she can open her eyes, but still stay at one place... active? jgn cerita laa... since she was jabs, main tak nk... gurau pun tak nk... bila usik .. dia cuma angkat mata jerr... she been like that for 5 days now, I've been worried about her.. since I gave her the antobiotic, she seem to be so khayal.. should I continue the medicine, then, what should I do? about the kurap, masih tak baik, but some places nampak makin worst..I went to pet shop this morning, they introduce me to use Dermanol cream, but I seem to be so confuse... entah laa.. should I bring her to vet again?  Hello, I got a kitten with kurap problem too. What your should do is... 1. take the mom cat to any Jabatan perkhidmatan haiwan to have a kurap jab. The mother got the problem! even if your can't feel it! 2. ask them for kurap cream (non poison) to sapu kat kitten. 3. daily clean kitten with medicated shampoo (don't bath it, use the cotton, wet the cotton with medicated shampoo added warm water to gently clean it. dun forget to dry it and then apply kurap cream) It's so not suitable for a kitten to have a kurap jab according to my vet. Kittens usually hard to survive with jabs. I'm not sure what is your kitten's age. But if you mean that it still feed by mom, probably still small. another method is to shave the kitten a bit, have it wear the plastic neck cover and apply some poisonous kurap cream. It works! but not too often, since kittens still learning on self grooming, should let it lick itself. Give the kitten some time after it takes the jab, remember to feed it rehydration solution if it seldom eat. Hope your kitten get well soon. __________________ ~ Asvoria ~ |

| Sian chitam.. Hai Asvoria, Thanks for the advice, will do accordingly, my chitam is 3 month old. rasa nk menangis tgk dia sakit.. all this while she's so active... like to bite my hand..  This morning, I went to pet shop again, to buy the medicated shampoo for her.. da 6 hari tak mandi.. sian chitam... vet. don't allow me to bath her.. tapi kalo lap boley kan?? Where can I get the plastic neck cover, as I ask few pet shop in bukit tinggi(ada 2 jerr kat sini), they don't have the plastic neck cover... huhuhuhu.. |

| I do inject my kittens with an antiFungal injection with few conditions: -Kitten must be > 2 mths old. -Healthy,good weight and feeding well. -The infection is too much for cream aplication.  Thanks guys.. Chitam started to play yesterday... but not as before... her kurap at her face and ears kering already... but the kurap at her feet are still there... berkeruping-keruping... and her leg started to bengkak... she will walk slowly... my father advice me to sapu minyak gamat... would it be work for her? nanti takut dia tak boley berjalan pulak.. might be end of this month I will take her to vet again... ok tak?  |

| You can try one of these: -Econazine Cream -apply twice daily . -Ketoconazole Cream-apply twice daily. -Dermafine Cream-apply at least once daily. -Daktarin cream-twice daily.
